Giselle

Giselle is a village maiden who is courted by a handsome stranger who is actually the young Duke Albrecht in disguise. His deceit is discovered by a woodsman (Hilarion) who eventually unmasks his rival. The shock is so great that Giselle's reason gives way, and she dies of a broken heart.

Giselle is a gift from the Volunteer Committee, Burlington School of Classical Ballet. Each show is based on a classical ballet repertoire designed to the student's level of advancement.

As a teacher and the greatest fan of my students, I would like to assure you that each one of them dancing for you, deserves a lot of credit for the hard work and truly magnificent approach toward this, one of the most challenging and beautiful forms of art.
