Sleeping Beauty
Sleeping Beauty is the second of Tchaikovsky's three ballets. The original scenario is based on Charles Perrault's La Belle au bois Dormant. The work is widely regarded as the composer's finest ballet score, and has become one of the classical repertoire's most famous ballets.
Sleeping Beauty is a gift from the Volunteer Committee, Burlington School of
Classical Ballet. According to the school's character, the show
is based on a classical ballet repertoire designed to the student's
level of advancement.
As a teacher
and the greatest fan of my students, I would like to assure you
that each one of them dancing for you, deserves a lot of credit
for the hard work and truly magnificent approach toward this, one
of the most challenging and beautiful forms of art.
